Sunday June 28th, whats everyone doing?
If nothing, lets set up a cruise or mod day/bbq? What do you guys say? Sure it's hot and it ain't getting any cooler and with July 4th that coming weekend it could be fun to have 2 events.
I was thinking of Lot 59 at ASU for a meet up and pictures and head on over to InNout, or a 4pm drive to Saguaro and hot dogs, or even a caravan up south mountain and a sunset BBQ?
But i'm sure someone else has a better idea. We have 5 weeks to plan.

Is this for June 8th or 28th? I would like to do it as long as it is under 110 that day.

I'm in, if I get my car this weekend. AH!!!!!
Shoot if it's too hot during the day we could do it at like dusk. When the sun's not so hot? Or even at night...

Shoot as long as it runs! It doesn't have to be show quality. I use to go to the local muscle car meet ups back east when I had my trans am and it was 5 colors haha and no door panels.

Might be able to do that. We will have to see how things go around then. I'm doing the engine swap on the bird this weekend. Wife should have the break-in miles done by then without a problem. Send a reminder closer to that weekend.

Do you guys really think your cars will be down for a month? That just seems horrible. Whats all wrong with them? Maybe we can help eachother out. I learned a **** ton from Brian and Austin.
Sup Austin, it's better. I keep getting a 44 with 91 octane and it idles like ****. With 87, it doesn't pop up nearly as much. Definately weird, but I'm used to that by now with this thing. Start working on that fender yet?

Too many. Way too boring. Ever heard of crystallic fusion? Look into it in a few years. Sounds fun. Where are you at on your project?

Re: Sunday June 28th, whats everyone doing?
Actually I have heard of it, if it can be made economically viable, it could be a good alternative or even sole energy source.
Also I did forget to mention family, helping run AFSC, side business (Young Kustoms) and doing all my own work...etc.
Sorry, but I never find making horsepower boring, esp if your goal is to get in the 9's, non intercooled, on pump gas and drive it to the track...did I mention stock long block??? Gotta have a challenge right?
The moser 12 bolt just arrived the night before I left for IL, it is a matter of mocking everything up putting it back together once everything fits as it should.

Sounds like that would be fun. What time were you planning on meeting at the lot?

Re: Sunday June 28th, whats everyone doing?
Good question. An even better question is who's showing up. I'll be there standing in the parking lot next to my car with a black trench coat and a boombox raised above my head blaring WHITE SNAKE as a signal for all Thirdgenners ala movie, "Say Anything". HAHAHA!!!

Re: Sunday June 28th, whats everyone doing?
I would like to go, but my car had to go to my parents house in the west boonies (Tonapah). I did the engine swap and have a bad lifter. I don't have the time right now to do the work, so it needs to sit for a while. Also looking for a house and new car anyway. Work is taking up a lot of time and the car is on the back burner.

Re: Sunday June 28th, whats everyone doing?
Was 100% down to go but... yeah.. the car situation sucks. I'm not getting the 91. Now I'm trying to get my $$(deposit) back.. and find another 3rd gen. Sorry.
Know that as soon as I get a 3rd gen again.. I will be everywhere!!!

If I can get my suspension fixed in time, I'll be in my Bird. If not - maybe we should reschedule to another day? I'm down for a day of BBQ, some beer maybe, and a lot a lot of car talk.
