I finally got my baby and looking to do some networking and get to know some normal 3rd gen folks. Any special events or get togethers for 3rd gens here in AZ? I have owned 3 3rd gens 1-67, 1-78 a 95 and 2000. I love the 3rd gens and finally got a worthy one lol.

I'm sure some folks from the AZFBA and others will chime in eventually. I used to live in Tempe (still have a house there) and will return someday (I currently live and work in San Diego).

And when it comes to F-bodies I have you beat. Since 1974 I've owned 6 67's, 2 68's, 2 69's, an 89 RS, a 96 Z28 vert, a 98 Z28 and my current 2002 Z28 (I bought it as a bookend to my 67)...

Wow man I'm jealous those cars sound like alot of fun. I really miss my 67. Thank you for the link I will check it out. You should hit me up when you come into town can get together and cruise do something.

We have a few times. Mostly to help each other out, but sometimes we meet at the central cruise, or at one of the informal car shows we have around here. My cars have been down for a while, but hopefully that will change after sunday.

Right on good luck getting the car back up. I'm not great at this computer stuff but love the resources these sites give so I am all in on this site. Where do I go to be in the loop if people are going to be meeting up? Will it post here in the southwest region? Thanks for the help

Usually you can find it here. Where are you located (Other than "Arizona", LOL) I have always liked this site for the networking. Everybody here does or has something. I am an auto electrician (Not what I do for work anymore, but it's what I'm good at.) and do car audio/alarms, power door locks, windows, etc. I'm also pretty good at finding parts and know more than a few shop owners (Body/paint, mechanical, upholstery, etc.) I also can do auto transport if you need.

Nice alot of experience there that awesome to know. I live in El Mirage and I am the chief engineer at 2 hotels on I-17 and happy valley. I have done maintenance on hotels and houses for about 15 years. Do some side jobs so maybe we could trade services if needed. When I was in highschool I worked On Cars all the time but had kids and fell out of it. Got my 3rd gen now and ready so ready.

Hey guys... there's a car show in old town glendale this coming saturday the 20th.... for the hot shot crew that past in the yarrnel fire... (Its a benifit show) its a nancy perry show.. the same nancy that puts on the twice a year Central Cruz.... I'll be there in my 3rd gen hawk.... the step child of the 3rd gens...lol..

I know you probably checked but I believe there is lead wires under back seat and ground wire comes lose or rusty sometimes. Just throwing it out there

Doubt it. I'm not big on roasting while sitting on pavement so I don't hit that many car shows in the summer. Plus once the GTA comes out of paint I've got some serious thrashing to do to get it ready for a 5000 mile roadtrip in Sept.

I'm here in Litchfield Park. I have 4 birds. Twin Turbo 90 GTA, 87 T-top bird (will be torn down), 90 bird body for the 87 parts to go into, and a 91 bird vert. Love these cars. Maybe have my girl drive the vert and I bring the GTA. Have to see how things go. What's the location of the show?

There is a car show this weekend Saturday at 5 or 530 in old town Glendale around 54th av and Glendale. 89 firehawk told me about it in this thread at top. I plan on being there for sure

Hey everyone... yes i was there in my hawk (First show for it) it was a hella huge turn out for the benefit!!! nancy hook me up with a great spot for parking!!!! and i also got to me birdtojag too... Good guy!!.. he was there in his 90' vert.... all in all a great turn out and a really good time!!!.... just for info the glendale show is every 3rd Saturday of the month and there's a weekly (every saturday night) on 67th ave and bell road.... Big K-mart parking lot also....

I think that's the misconception and reason that alot of third genners don't turn out. Your car doesn't have to be showroom quality for the ConC. Hope this happens but ill be there regardless.

To Dean, I don't know the exact Saturday in October but its usually the same weekend as Columbus Day

Now this is ultra true!!! ...you don't have to have a show car or a show winner to roll to the Central show and Cruise... just need to show up with your ride!!! Like i laways say::: "I'd rather have a show of force then no show at all".......

I will try to get with nancy about the dates.... this way we have a good idea of when... to see if were off or can get off of work..lol....
