Look what the cat brought in =)

Here are the 17x9 ROH Snyper Rims that are going to replace the 15x7 Crosslace rims on the car now. Man these things are sweet. Now I just need to get some rubber for them and I will be set

For those of who that don't know, these are what's on the car right now. As you can see this will be a big appearance change

I am guessing the rims weigh about 14 lbs each. I would have to put one on a scale to get the exact weight. Total shipping weight was 56 lbs but that was with all the lugs, security lugs, and valve stems.

That sound pretty good for a 17x9". What tires are you going with?

Looks great, I think snypers are the best looking non stock 3rd gen wheel. Can you get them in 17x11.

Tires are the next challenge. I don't what I should go with. Size is going to 275/40/R17 all the way around.

These are the biggest they come Jerry. I wish they came in an 11, that would be nice.

If I didn't get my Ronals for 1/2 price the Snyper would be my first choice. My only concern with those wheels are they don't look beefy enough to make too many mistakes with.

They weigh alot more than 14lbs. IIRC, the 16x8's I have are at the 20 mark or a little more.

Its been better my Trans am last Saturday took a crap. I broke the trans completely. So Its off to bowtie overdirves when they have time. Its going to get a 4L80E and 2400 stall converter installed for ONLY 2500 which sucks. So I was forced to work all weekend and scramble to throw together my GTA that has been in hidding since I couldn't figure out what was wrong with it 2 months ago. Well it turned out to be the pressure regulator. so I put in a holly adj. one and some accel injectors and my headers finally and the exhaust and chip and undrive pulleys so now that the motor is broke in Ill start to finish the next step. Which is port the plenum have my lingenfilter runners extrude honed and put on the 52mm throttlebody. Then the curry 9" with the 373's goes in with the subframes and the torque arm then my 125 shot of NOS . Then its off to get a new paint job cause it looks like crap

Man Rusty thats some nice mods getting done to the car It's going to be one sweet ride. I want to go check it out sometime. You will be going through rear tires quick with those mods We need to cruise one time when my car isn't acting funky.

Yea I need to get some tires so I can mount the rims on the car. The tires are going to be almost as much as the rims were At least I should have better traction with the 275s compared to the 225s on the car now

Trans87...I too want these rims for my IROC. I was planning on 8" up front and 9" with a 275 tire in the rear. I read a lot about the 275s rubbing a lot in the front on a 9" wheel. Are you at all concerned about this? Man, it would be cool to run a 275 all the way around so you can rotate and all but I'm just afraid of them rubbing. Also, is your car lowered at all? Once you get them mounted, be sure to report back. Thanks
