Fontana 2/28

We will be out at Fontana again, if any of you 'fast 3rd gens' want to take a crack at us. Who else is thinking of going, we are going to be practicing and displaying our new sponsor! Who's up for some drag racing?

We were thinking of going, but honesty if the rain holds up like was over the weekend, then I doubt the track will be much fun

I'm gonna go but I'm taking my other car instead of the ol bird....
The Firebird needs a new distributor and redo the timing. so I'm gonna be taking my Eclipse there and see what she runs.

Yup, that is where I bought my SS from off the 'showroom floor'. Plus we purchased our F*rd Explorer from them as well.

Rain, eh Randy? Hopefully not ... we'll see.

I'm gonna be heading down too. I don't know about me running against you though since my car is really slow. If you need any test dummies to race against, I'm bringing a bunch of friends. I hope the weather is nice and sunny, cuz it will be a waste off a day if its raining. Now I got to reasons to go, first is to see your car run and second is that its my first time running at the 1/4 mile.

Yes weather looks good, I would recommend bringing something warm to wear in the pits, unless of course you are like the Lara's that keep themselves warm in-between passes

Did alright on Saturday. I did my best reaction time with .525
although a stock non-turbo eclipse runs low 18s to high 17s.
My best run on the eclipse was 18.1 with a .548 reaction time. good to know that the firebird(V6) with a 17.6 1/4mile time with full interior, soundsystem and running on my chrome 18s. lol
