new meet

Me and some friends are all working on planning a pretty big meet.

so far people on Mirage Forums have shown interest and 7thgencivic has shown interest as well.

I want to get some Domestic support out there as well... especially some third gen camaros.

we dont have any dates or anything yet but were aiming for mid to late august and we are thinking about having a BBQ at a beach somewhere down in san diego a big turnout would be really cool so talk to me on AIM or e-mail me if your interested.

peace

ya im one of those "ricers". I was thinking the same thing about domestic and import mixing. But i think the people who go are the ones that dont care about the mixing of imports and domestics. I like either one and the only real domestic i like is something chevy.

i usually rev on the rustangs and dont mess with the camaros unless its dan.

Depends on what "Rustang" you run. A 1987 5.0 notchback 5-speed LX will wipe the floor of stock 3rd gen 305 autos and lower. Mustangs can be made pretty quick and the 302 in them is easy to mod due to the vast amount of aftermarket parts available for them. Not all Mustangs are slow Cool to see that you are friendly toward the domestic crowd though.

imports vs domestics

I dont think mr civic here was saying Rustangs are slow... its just fun to dog on them sometimes... I always rev on a rustang if I see one... but the whole point here is that this meet isnt really imports vs domestics its just people who like cars, I hope. thats really what i had in mind when i tossed this idea up.

so lets all just be friends and have a good turnout.,, it will be cool

ya i dont mind domestics but theres something about a mustang that makes me wanna rev on them. Dan likes to do it too but he paid the price once. He revs on a previous gen red mustang GT. They race and he gets OWN3D. Dan said he saw some boost gauges so it was supercharged.

I dont mind people making fun of my car bc its just a lil civic anyways. Its not a hardcore import either. Hardcore would be a Teg type r, Skyline, RSX S, and the badass Supra. Someday Ill have a fast import that will beat a Mustang and a Camaro. But Dan will be My first victim muahahahhaa. Also id like to own a Camaro and have fun with it. You think AUTO camaros are still fun? Cause I cant drive stick yet. plus i dont wanna bust out the old mr2 trick. Some dumbass who prob didnt know how to drive stick on a FR slammed his car into a jetta and almost hit an Integra type arrrrr.

Well you know how alot of people associate imports with asians? Well one time I swear to ***, me and Dan saw an Asian Toretto driving a red Camaro. He had the hardcore white shirt, and bald head thing going. He showed off his hardcore fuel injection to Dan.

Not a good idea to bring import talk to a 3rd gen board either, some people might get their feathers ruffled....

anybody?

well this post seems to be the one with all the action.

so far we have heard that some Miragers are going to be there and they are the only good responders, Id like to know if I can expect any thirdgens out there other than mine... on August 16th at Fiesta island

there is a more detailed post in another topic, august meet/cruise so check that out and tell me if you can/want to make it.

Why sit around and wait for someone else to create something for you to do? Why dont you guys find something fun to do in San Diego, pick a date, and invite everyone together and make a meeting out of it? If you wait for someone else to do it, you'll be waiting a long time.

And again, why are you guys bumping this post to the top again?? Its over 6 months old.
