Irwindale 7/8
I decided to go on the spur of the moment. Sorry if I didn't tell anybody.
Don had advanced the timing on my car from 4 to 6 a couple weeks ago, and I hadn't run it at Irwindale yet. (The results of Fontana confused me, 'cause of the altitude and different track.) Everything else is still the same.
I got a new best in the 1/8 - a 9.13 at 76.58 mph; (2.075 60')!
I also got a 9.14, at 76.96.

Not bad, Not bad at all. Watch and see what happens when you get the new parts installed. You will break into the 80 with ease.

Every little bit helps! Thanks Don.
It all depends on the track. If they could only extend the track at Irwindale...
Update: I'm adding new pictures to my cardomain site from the past couple weeks of racing... http://www.cardomain.com/memberpage/556930/2
That's pretty good. 79-82 MPH is a strong 13-second car.

Cool, thanks Teron, & welcome.
I'm a nut, I hope I didn't scare you away at the track. Most of the other people on this board are nice, though.
What color is your car? I saw a couple 3rd gens in the parking lot.
Traction...Yeah I've heard rumors of such a thing.
You should try Irwindale, Flynlow. The track is stickier & you can get a lot of runs for practice.

You beat me fair and square on that one. I tell you what, let's put a c-note one our next run and then double or nothing on the one after that. Sound good?

Sure, in a few years maybe I will take you up on it.
I got that picture at the track, they have digital cameras and they save all the pics from the past couple weeks, if anyone wants theirs. $8 for a 5 x 8 and they're not pixellated at all. I posted a bigger one on my page so you can see.
