Another central coast 3rd gen! nice ride!
I'm looking forward to meeting you.

I drove my IROC to work last friday and set off car alarms driving down Thorwood in Goleta.

90-irocdx3 - Where are you located in SB?

Jerry O's in... I'm solo so far, but my brother-in-law (whom I sold my RS to last year) lives in Lompoc and says he just might meet us out there. I should know sometime in the next few days.

I should be installing the ignition module tomorrow... everyone keep their fingers crossed that it will work and allow me to attend.

At this time I'm planning to come up alone. My wife has to work that day, but it looks like I won't be on call. Has a decision been made, are we bringing food or money? If money, how much for lunch?

We're up to 21 and counting. Bret - are you in?
I'll get a price on tri-tip and see what it breaks down to so I can determine a $ per.
I use a 3 person per tip ratio and we're up to 7 tips. You usually get 6 tips per bag and the last I saw the bags were going for $70-80 each. Do I need to get 2 bags?

They haven't finished the new bridge that is the main road from 101 so the north bound folks will need to get off of the 101 before the regular exit. There is a truck parking area at the top of the grade that has a paved road that will take you to the park. Follow the road until your first right, I think it's still Alisal rd. at that point and you'll find the park on that road.
Or if you decide to go over 154 you'll make a left on hwy 246/mission. When you get to Solvang you'll make a left on Alisal rd. You can wind your way to the park from Alisal rd.

The South bound folks can go through Solvang from the other side of 246 and make a right on Alisal or flip a btch on the 101 and do the truck parking area bat cave road.

Actaully, I'm bringing one or two friends with Third Gens, but we are bringing plenty of food for ourselves and others. Probably chicken and some tri-tip.

You want us to bring some beverages also?

PM me if you need anything else.

You can bring your own tri tip if you want, but Dwayne makes the best tri tip the world has ever tasted!

I think you meant Bryan (90 irocdx3), he's the one that had his 'vert totalled. Oh, the horror...

Dwayne, do you know if they are still repaving Hwy 154 and have it down to one lane?

The IROC is running sweet, as of today. I'm definitely in!

So I'm thinking maybe we should hit the road from Don's shop around 8-8:30 ish instead of 9:30? Especially if we are going to stop off of the 5 and pick up Lon... anyone have any thoughts on that?

Bring the Chevelle! Heck, we can even stop off in Montecito on our way and pick you up... don't let an unfortunate accident get in the way of your fun!

You guys arent going to like this, but its about 6 hours from Sacramento... You'd need to leave about 5 AM to make it by 11 am-12 noon. Or you could leave Friday night and stay at Dwayne's house.

You might want to email Dwayne or myself and get our cell phone numbers. Dwayne, is yours still the same? I have three numbers for you in my phone, and I dont know which is which. Can you email it to me, please?

Hey Lon

Are you going to be at the Jack at the 5/Carmenita or another?

I think I'll meet up with you and save a little gas having to back-track to Don's shop.

What time?

Way cool Don!
I picked up the tip today and I get the rest tomorrow.

I went by the park to check it out and it looked good. There are a lot of trees covering the piknic tables. I also got a call from the No.Co. parks & rec reservation desk letting me know that no one has reserved any of the large BBQ areas

The main road bridge is still closed.

Beware...the bat cave road off 101 is really bumpy and there are a few speed bumps.

I'll have a ice chest as well so i think we're cover on the ice chests'.

I'll be getting there early... I have a few magazines to read.

I'll need help getting some stuff back to my house after the BBQ since my wife will be working and I'll have the Camaro....not much room for storage.

I'll get a cake for dessert and some fruit a

We could use some salad dressings, appetizers/chips.

ICE

Is any body else bringing stuff?

I can give you a hand taking stuff back to your house, if it will fit in my Firebird. I can also bring chips. Do I need to bring the ice chest and sodas, or are we already covered there.

Jon, I'm meeting Don at that spot. We talked about Lowes parking lot, but the Jack lot is smaller and easier to find someone in. Don is planning to leave his shop at 9:30 so I figured about 9:45 for a meet up. I want to pick up some small stuff at Lowes so I'll probably be there around 9:00.
