Jon, I'm meeting Don at that spot. We talked about Lowes parking lot, but the Jack lot is smaller and easier to find someone in. Don is planning to leave his shop at 9:30 so I figured about 9:45 for a meet up. I want to pick up some small stuff at Lowes so I'll probably be there around 9:00.
That parking lot is smaller and Lowe's is just across the street.
Right on the corner, easy to see us from the freeway.

I spoke with my folks the other day and they said that they have been repaving sections of 154 and have it down to one lane in many areas. I'm not sure how accurate that is or whether or not they have completed the work, I'm going to see if it comes up on the Caltrans Hwy. report...

154 has been fully open on the weekends.

Latelty we've had small brush fires on the side of the roads that cause delays.

I'm thinking I should change the eating time to later. What time to you folks think we will all be there to eat?

I think we are trying for noon, but with traffic being unpredictable, a 1:00p.m. eating time might be safer.

I just picked up 6 large bags of chips and three jars of salsa. The salsa is mild or medium. If anyone wants "muy caliente", you'll have to bring your own.

Today I spent a little over $500 getting the a/c system repaired and re-charged on the Camaro so I could bring it. I used some of my precious stash of vintage R12, so I saved roughly $125 in freon cost. I find that anything much over 90 is a bit warm for topless driving especially with this humidity. I'll have the option of driving top up or topless now without having to bake. See you at JITB. I'll bring an ice chest and ice.

Did somebody call? I want to caravan with you guys, too. It depends on how long it takes to wash the car tomorrow... I'll try to be at the Jack on time. If I take too long or something, I'll just make my own way there.

Can't make this one. I think that my oil pump was reading the forums and plotting on when to die. It's really too bad. I live 20 minutes away from Nojoqui falls.

Have fun, take pics.

Julie, if it is closer for you, some folks are meeting at Don's shop to leave at 9:30 from there.
