LOF brand front windshield?
Is it possible to still get the original style LOF brand front windshield for our cars?
Are there any NOS glass shops in So. Cal that specialize in items like this? A local glass shop told me that LOF was bought out by Pilkington in the early 90's. They said if I wanted LOF brand, it will have the Pilkington brand logo on it not the original LOF logo. I don't want that.
If I have to pull one out of a junkyard, are there any tips or tricks I should know? You know things like special cutters, blades, piano wire, etc...?

Pilkington or PPG I opted for the PPG in mine.

Unless you have some luck finding a new one. If you are doing a concourse restoration they wont knock off points for a replacement windsheild.

Even if you found one in a wrecking yard it would probably be all pitted up. Nuthin says "clean" like a new windshield! And getting it out in one piece could be a trick. If you found one you like it mite pay to have a pro cut it out for you.
