Who in the So cal area does carb to TPi swaps.If anyone knows of someone(besides Dyno Don) post up, thanks.

If you cant wait for Dyno Don, then Paul (F1LS1) is the only other person I would trust.
I've yet to meet anyone else still dealing with TPI engines. They've all moved on to LT1 and LS1. And just like you wouldnt take your Chevy to a Ford mechanic, dont take your TPI to an LS1 specialist with no TPI experience.

Well Ive been waiting since feb/march 07.I would much rather put an LS1 than a TPI, but thats probably more money than i can afford.

I'm in the process of getting my carb'd 84 trans am a TPI swap right now. Don would've been my #1 choice and if you can wait I'd say go with him. But I'm in a hurry and this guy I met will be finished in a matter of weeks. He's a mechanic/body man by trade who has done TPI swaps before and he's an avid third gen fan. I'll let you know how the job turns out.
