Bob's Big Boy
Anybody go on Friday nights in Burbank to their mini car show?
I've been there a couple times but there never is enough third gens.

I go sometimes and there usually aren't any thirdgens there. So I do get some extra attention. : ) I usually meet up with a lot of the fourthgen guys, they get there around 10.

Been there many times, but never seem to see other 3rd gens. Hard to get a parking spot unless you arrive early. There are regulars that seem to get there before 2:00 pm ( I know, I have taken a day off of work to get there early, and get a prime spot...I thought). I guess they are either retired, or have no regular job??
Normally I would arrive after work, and that time of the day, it is "very" hard to locate a spot.
Unfortunately, there is not much respect for 3rd gens. On rare occasions, you will run into someone who appreciates our cars.
But still, a interesting place to go.

I'll let you know when I go. Most of the time my friends go with me which are a 1969 Camaro SS, my bro's 2002 35th Anniversary SS, my friends 2000 Z28, and my friends 1973 El Camino SS. All Chevy's!

Re: Bob's Big Boy
I am going tonight. The 4th gen crowd usually shows up around 9:00 or later, hangs out for a few hours, then cruises somewhere else to grab food. Come on out guys! If more of you showed up then there would be a third gen scene too! There are already second gens and first gens that come regularly. I am one of those dudes that really knows what I'm doing with my fourth gen. Got the interior sort of torn apart right now for a sound deadener install. If any of you show, I'm the guy wearing the hat that looks like this:

Re: Bob's Big Boy
I was thinking this might be a fun to attack en masse on a non-meeting month (Next month?) as a club outing. Get as many 3rdGens as possible, and just rock their world, plus it's in a part of town that might pull in some ThirdGen owners who don't go to the meetings. If enough of us show up, it doesn't matter where we park, we will get attention and respect.

Got there around 9 on Friday and hung out with the 4th gen guys until 2 AM... We usually leave there around 11 to midnight to grab something to eat elsewhere.

Re: Bob's Big Boy
Speaking of Bob's Big Boy, for those of you familar with the City of Downey, the old Johnie's Broiler is being rebuilt after the jerk land lord demololished it (legal historic landmark). It will be a Bob's Big Boy with the old time diner look. So hopefully it should be like the way it was as it was shown in the 1991 Camaro Catalog. Could be a cool place to show off our Camaro's.

It's at 4211 W. Riverside Dr.(north side of the street), where Riverside splits and Alameda begins.
