So what do you guys think about these times?
Last night I went to Irwindale and for myself had a big improvement of three tenths of a second just by putting in the stock injectors and stock tune! I got to go three times last night and this is what I got.
First run
60'...2.113
1/8...9.534
mph...73.61
Second run
60'...2.177
1/8...9.599
mph...73.69
Third run
60'...2.150
1/8...9.527
mph...74.22
This was done with K&N filters, SLP runners and edelbrock baseplate, SLP 1 5/8 headers with Dyno Don y-pipe and magnaflow catback (duel cats)
For my suspension I have black poly thouout the whole car, granetelli control arms, some tubular panhard rod i got off eBay and TDS subframe connectors welded in.
The car has 181.xxx miles and it and the gear ratio is 2.77 9 bolt

Nice times... You finally beat my V6! Get some better gearing or a different rear end and see what it'll do.

*update*
My first run of the day is also my best one to date.
60'...2.111
330...6.143
1/8...9.467
MPH...74.45
My second run I decided to take off the air lid completely to see if it made a difference, so it was an open throttle body. The 1/8th ended up being 9.542. That cold air does make a difference!

It's just something I made up. The fourth gen thing is true, and it having a stock motor and trans is true. Some dude from Thirdgen.org at Irvine Cars n Coffee said my car "looks confused" because of the TA wing and the Raptor hood. The exhaust tips thing is a mix of what people say and what I say, and the really slow thing is me being a smartass.

Ok sorry to of taken so long but here are the results
first run
60'...2.264
330...6.264
1/8...9.575

second run

mph...73.55
third run
60'...2.125
330...6.171
1/8...9.513
mph...72.92
fourth run
60'...2.091
330...6.095
1/8...9.452
mph...72.28
To be honest I'm a little dissappointed. I didnt do anything different from the other times I have been there before. Sure I got a couple 9.4's and a 2.0 60' but I was thinking I would be running 9.3's maybe 9.2's after the gear swap.
The only thing that is different on my car are going from 2.77 gear ratio to a 3.42, and 17inch Zr1's with nitto drag radials on the back. I definitely thought the tires would of helped too. I guess thats what I get for having a 305.

Re: So what do you guys think about these times?
were the tires you switched to bigger , that may have evened out any gains going to a taller tire .If they are bigger try switching back just to see the difference in the two.

Ok I got my new best tonight.
60'...2.014
330...5.975
1/8...9.289
MPH...73.18
Things that have been changed were a new red poly trany mount and this is the fourth time replacing it. LS1 aluminum driveshaft, and March underdrive pullies. I only put on the crank and water pump. I’ve been meaning to get on the alternator but haven’t had time. For the record I have no problems with the pullies. Not even during the traffic I was in today going to the track. And the last thing was putting in a 180 thermostat. Funny thing is the previous owner put in a 160 and I thought the stock 195 was still there. The 180 is working quite well though.
I believe I can still make an improvement with my little 305. Ideas are an adjustable fuel pressure regulator, my SLP cold air intake I bought 3 years ago but never installed because I haven’t relocated the battery yet and the biggest thing is getting the shift points corrected. Since I had the transmission rebuilt the shift points have been too high and the guys at the shop can’t seem to get it down after a couple tries. Tonight it was shifting around 5500 to 6000RPM.
Here is my Dyno graph
