First, I just don't understand how some people can be so naive. Second, if your going to pack a gun, learn how to shoot it so you can hit your target. Lastly, why isn't the DA charging the man with attempted murder?

i saw a similar story in the tv show the first 48, unfortunately that case ended in murder. to the guys defense i guess you don't figure the camaro enthusiast would ever do something like that.

There have been cases where the potential buyer came to look at a car and stole the car at gun point and cases where they robbed the seller and ransacked his house.
Any time you are dealing with strangers there is the chance of something bad happening.
I think its cool that his GF and he had guns and opened fire. In CA he and his GF would be in jail too.

This story holds lots to be learned... How to be dumb, slow, retarded, greedy, ignorant, naive, etc....
If someone wants to buy something of yours they will come to you if they really want it... Especially on a listing on craigslist or any other public forum as such.... Otherwise hmmmmm...
However he was too eager to make a sell.. He had the excitement of havin' that cold hard cash in hand and it clouded his judgment.. I don't wish harm on folks, however, you get whut you get, and it is whut it is..
Keepin your head on straight in all things, and being even keeled with your emotions will serve you best and hopefully this will be a reminder to him in tha future..
