Schedule of events for Sunday November 21, 2010

• 9:00AM – 11:00AM Meet & Greet / Breakfast @ Hometown Buffet
• 11:00AM - 11:30AM Drivers Meeting
• 11:30AM - Departure for Cruise Staging Area
• 12:00PM – Arrival at Staging Area / Regroup
• 12:15PM - Departure for Super Cruise (Approximately 100 Miles)
• 2:45PM - 3:00PM Arrival at Castaic / Photos
• 3:30PM – Open… Arrival at Telly's Diner for Late Lunch Early Dinner

Breakfast at Hometown Buffet is affordably priced at $4.99 and is all you can eat. We will have open seating as participants will be arriving at different times and there is no need for reserved seating.

Parking/Staging will be in the lot adjacent to the restaurant. Participants will be able to chat and check out other 3rd gen owners rides before the Super Cruise.

The Super Cruise route is a unique collection of scenic routes, canyons, and endless straights that will be appreciated regardless of skill set. This Super Cruise is designed to get 3rd gen owners behind the wheel and on the road with other 3rd gen owners. Our Super Cruise will take through the canyons of Santa Clarita to Palmdale and course through the switchbacks of Elizabeth Lake.

This is not a competition and anyone found attempting to test the limitations of their vehicle and/or participate in a speed contest in close proximity to participants of this event will be asked to turn around and/or will have their vehicle photographed and immediately emailed to the California Highway Patrol. The July Super Cruise was without incident and we would very much like to keep it that way. We ask that all Super Cruise participants please govern themselves accordingly.

As for the July event, if you wish to participate in the Super Cruise you (drivers & passengers) will be required to sign a Release and Waiver of Liability Agreement in order to receive a route map and participate in the event.

The area we will be ending the Super Cruise at in Castaic offers some pretty amazing photo opportunities (vantage points, backdrops, etc.) so don’t forget to bring your cameras.

We will be ending our event with a final stop at Telly’s Drive In. It has great food, amazing service, and the perfect way to end our cruise.

If you plan on attending go ahead and RSVP. This will give us a better idea of how many cars we will have and cruise maps to bring.

I'll def try to be here for this I have that day off just hope my harness and pcm get here asap got it from sum dude off this site but it's been more then a month already and still haven't got it... So if any1 local has an extra 88 TPI harness and pcm let me know an I'll see what I can do bout gettin my money back from that other guy on here

It is near Vasquez Rocks, a local rock formation often used as a filming location for movies and TV shows.

Just read that in a plane crash article, I remember passing this place last time, might be worth a side trip, not sure.

oh and I do not do Camaro mine is a Firebird but we are all Third Gens 1982-1992 F-Bodies

I’ve been looking for a Fox Body club to have some combined events with. After all the Fox Body is the natural born enemy of the 3rd gen and it would be great to get them together for a little friendly competition (drag racing, auto x, time attack, etc.) not to mention cruises, and BBQ’s. Let me know where you land so we can put something together.

Now that’s a ‘can do’ attitude if I’ve ever seen one! It just wouldn’t be the same without the Firebird on Dubs

Actually no, I’m not promoting this cruise like I have in the past. It’s only being advertised on Thirdgen.org, SC3G.org, and SC3G’s affiliate sites. Unlike past events this year, this event is for our existing members whereas the past events have been about introducing 3rd gen owners in different areas to SC3G.

This particular Super Cruise is the last major event of 2010 and is dedicated to our existing members both new and old. As always, all 3rd gen owners are welcome to participate in any of our events and/or meetings including the Fall Super Cruise.

As a result of the meeting/event rotation this year SC3G has had 56 new member sign ups from 3rd gen owners across Southern California. SC3G members, WELL DONE!

We were stopped at a red light making a left hand turn. It's a two lane turn, I'm on the inside he's on the outside. He tries to drift thru the intersection, loses control and when I straighten out his rear-end whips back into the front of my car. sad day

Well the guy who hit me is a good friend, so at first they didn't want to go they insurance so I said okay. Then I get quotes and they say they don't want to pay that much. So we tell them the can give us 2800 (the less of the two quotes) or we take it to insurance. Then his dad files a felony hit and run against me (even though we pulled over and talked for 10 minutes) and so now it's going to insurance. I have a relative who's a retired sargeant (collision investigation was his main job) and he looked and says there's no way it couldn't been my fault.

Well maybe sometime next year I can cruise down for one of the cruises. We have adoption training we have to attend that weekend. We're adopting twin boys
