You got the healthiest of the LS1, 01-02s run really strong!! I'm in Costa Mesa, might have to stop by and check it out once you get it going.

Re: look what i got..............
No problem man I have a lot of info on my build thread. Also I'm working on an extra hvac box. Its part 3rd gen part 4th gen but allows you to use the newer 4th gen stuff compared to buying the expensive brackets to use the 3rd gen compressor and looks a lot cleaner and factory. Later down the road if your interested lmk. I had mine running well but my system was not properly charged .

Re: look what i got..............
don't see the downside???? if he got it for 300.00 i'd be happy as heck for him. if he paid 2500.00 to 3000.00--that would be about normal. i don't mind telling people when i score big on a purchase...

Or say he decided later that he does not have time/money for the project, and wants to sell the car, that information being on a public forum will diminish his resale value. And what has he possibly got to gain from it?
No downside? Really? I thought this was common sense, but I guess not.

Re: look what i got..............
i don't think its a problem. if he paid 300.00 and wants to flip if for 3000.00 who cares? i part out a lot of these cars and if someone doesn't want to pay what i want for a part i really dont care-i make them a fair deal and if they want something more i'll throw it away before selling to them, but then i've parted a lot better cars than i've seen a lot of people drive. yeah, i sometimes get people pissed at me when i part out a car that they think is awesome-oh well.

Re: look what i got..............
I didn't put the price not because I want to sell the extra but because I NEED to sell the extra lol. I used our taxes to purchase the SS and I promised the wife we'll be back to square one after the swap is done, hopefully haha. Lets just say I know the right person at the right time and he accepted what I had in my pocket, no offense taken in wanting to know.
On a side note I forgot that I will be using the brakes as well. I'll be getting rid of the parts that cant be swapped over (body parts, lid, sfc's, etc). Then soon the l98 and 700 will be up for sale too.
To Vince, I am going to make it a smog legal swap and notch the k-member in case I decide to put a/c down the road. Whats this hawks book??
Fidel, I've already bookmarked your thread haha.
Rick, yup I'm gonna do this on my own but everyone is welcome to help lol.
Oh and I hooked up a battery and this bad boy only has 58k on it and has the 345 hp package..

Thanks guys, I painted it with...spray cans lol. The duplicolor perfect match arctic polar white. I made sure to prep it well and didn't half *** it, but there are a few flaws. If it doesn't hold up to daily driving I'll just have it resprayed when I do the whole car. And I'm usually workin on it the whole weekend if you want to check it out.

Re: look what i got..............
love how you have to pound the hood to open it o, just like mine. clean install though. like the original dash withe the new gauges

Re: look what i got..............
Thanks guys. Haha the old hood pound trick. It doesnt feel like a 3rd gen without it. The gauges I wired in and molded the 3rd and 4th gen covers together. Not finished with it yet. Wheels are the budniks that were for sale on here.

Saw your car out at M&M's last night... The black centers in the wheels really offset the white. What you do with the centers is ultimately your choice, but FWIW I think it look perfect. Kept an eye out for you but there were quite a few heads there
