Strut Tower Brace - Kenny Brown vs. Edelbrock

I'm getting ready to purchase a Strut Tower Brace for the IROC, and have narrowed it down to either the KB or the Edelbrock, since I want a 3-point brace. Does anyone have any input on the pros and cons of either/both? I'm tempted to go with the KB, since I think it looks a lot cleaner, but are their any performance benefits of the KB (tubular) over the Edelbrock (square)? Are there any other manufacturers out there that make a 3-point brace that is comparable or better than either of these?

i think you should go with the edelbrock because i believe you can take it off easier when you need to get to the engine.

the kenny brown is one whole piece, so oyu need to unbolt where it mounts to the strut towers..

both look real good..

for TPI, i would get the KB piece.

i jsut don't like the bolt in peices on the edelbrock.

i have the edelbrock for carb'd cars , (1 peice 3 point, like the TPI KB) and it is a 2 min job (at the most) to take it off , not that big of a deal, esepicaly since you unbolt the same number of bolts to take just the peices that go back to the firewall off on the edelbrock.

Well, that was a thought, and while I did get an 'A' in Geometry in High School,

1. I don't have metal cutting tools
2. I don't have a welder
3. For the time and effort it would take me to design and fabricate one, it is more than worth it to me to just go buy one.

If you were willing to spend a little and some extra money, you could invest in some inexpensive tools and then fab the STB. You could find a welder to rent or get a welding shop to weld it for you for a nominal charge.

Just a thought...
