Covertibles, what SFC's to use with dual cats?

I might have an opportunity to buy some used headers that are for a dual cat setup, problem is that my convertible need sfc's and I've heard of people with coupes having probs with sfc's and headers with a dual cat setup. just wondering if any convertible owners with a dual cat setup have sub frame connectors, if so what brand (alston's, Kenny Brown etc) do they have and were there any issues?

This question cannot be construed as either History or Restoration. Let's put it where it belongs, Suspension / Chassis / Brakes.

I don't believe any convertibles came factory with dual cats (since I believe it was only an option on 350's), so I'm not sure too many people would have that setup. Both Spohn and Alston make SFC's that fit convertibles w/o modification, and both can be run simultaneously. KB's require cutting to make them fit on a convertible. IMO, if ya gotta cut it, it wasn't made for the car.

No prob. Just trying to help by exposing your question in the most expedient way to the guys who most likely can answer it.

There are convertibles out there with dual cats. (I'm 99% sure the dual cats were an option on the 305TPI as well.)

As for the SFC's, I hear the Alstons will work as well. I think one of the front mounts needs a little trimming, but thats it.
