Intermediate steering shaft coupling joint

While moving the steering shaft on my GTA during a header install, I noticed that the rubber boot on the coupling joint between the upper intermediate shaft and the steering column is badly cracked. Is this part servicable separately, or would the upper part of the shaft require replacement? How big of deal is it that the coupling is open now? The car is a driver so it sees a variety of conditions.

Over time it will loosen up and you'll get play in the shaft. The coupling and boot are replacable. I'll see if I can get you a part number at work tomorrow.
