New Supension (torque specs)
Hey guys, I am just waiting on my spohn stuff that is coming UPS tomorrow before I install my new suspension. For those of you who don't know already, I'm going with the Eiback pro-kit, bilstein sports, spohn panhard bar, LCAs and brackets, front and rear sway bar bushings and endlinks and new upper strut towers. Hopefully tomorrow I will have time to post pics of everything. I just need some help on all the torque settings for all of these compents. I will list everything and then maybe someone can copy/paste the list and fill it in for me...I would greatly appreciate that.

I buy my pieces one at a time. It makes me feel like I'm not spending a lot of money. LOL
Good choices though.
sorry I don't know the tq specs, I'd just make sure everything is really damn tight.

Well, it made more sense for me to just save up for it all at once so that I don't have to spend extra on shipping. I can't wait to install it all. It won't be for at least another couple weeks though, because I gotta help dad finish up some projects on the house then we'll be moving on to the car. I'll post installation pics here as well as some before/after shots, so don't forget about this thread!

You guys won't believe what happened to me today. I went to my local muffler shop and he said it would be $200 to weld in the brackets and install the LCAs and panhard bar. No biggie so I said I would install everything then I'd drive over just so he could finish up my welding in the brackets. So it was a bummer that I couldn't get that done today...just one extra step for me.
But the real killer is that on my way home, the engine was up above 220 a little and the motor started to seize...it rattles violenty and I thought I had run out of oil or something so I pulled over and shut her off immediately. I also had absolutely no power when I hit the gas. So after two hours of waiting for AAA to tow me home, I went to get a new rotor since it sounded kinda like an electrical problem (oil was low, but I filled it up...pressure when I try and crank it so engine is fine). The rotor didn't help at all so now I figure it's a fuel problem since the car sounds like it's getting starved of fuel.
...Replace the fuel filter...to my surprise, very little fuel come out when I remove the filter...and the fuel that does come out is muddy looking. Uh oh. Well, put the new filter in and she still won't start. Now I'm thinking either there is a blockage in the line before the filter or my pump went out.
Long story short, I won't be able to do my suspension like I planned to this weekend cuz I can't get the car up in the garage. I'll be taking her to my mechanic on monday for him to drain the tank and take a look. Very frustrating. I will never save a few cents again and buy gas at Arco. I feel better now.

Well I just woke up and my dad was able to pull her into the garage before it died on him so I guess we'll be getting started on the rear suspension (probably jus the panhard bar, shocks, springs, and bushings), I don't think we'll mess with the brackets yet. As for the fuel tank, I'll just have my mechanic take care of that one for me on monday, he does it all the time.

The struts/springs and front sway bar bushings/endlinks are getting done tomorrow. I am having bear frame and wheel take care of the front end for me. They will also align the whole car while it's there. So this should all be done tomorrow and it will get a much deserved washing cuz she's been through so much in the last few weeks.

If any of you are in the So. Cal area, I highly recommend Bear Frame and Wheel. They did a great job, on time, and at a fair price. They installed the front springs/struts/sway bar bushings/endlinks and strut towers for $140 including alignment. The car handles great. It also isn't as harsh as it was before. I feel mostly like I have a lot more control of it. Rear:

Hmm, I thought I'd definately get more responses to this as everyone talks about this combo. Maybe it's just that the title it's under: "torque specs"...no one cares. I plan on either re-building the engine next or doing the body work, havn't decided yet.

You should seriously consider a Wonderbar. You would have to remove/installl those Sway Bar bushings again though. It is a noticeable improvement. Everything looks great. BTW are those Spohn bushings? if so I have the same ones but I put a Top Down Solutions Wonderbar on at the same time. I think that is the best one to get and he's right in your state too.

I've already got a wonderbar though. One of the main reasons I replaced the other stuff was because the old bushings were shot and because I wanted adjustable pieces.

Oh, I couldn't see it in the pic, is it a stock one? If so you still might want an aftermarket one, they are a lot thicker and you already replaced everthing else.
