Hey bud, Koni and Tokico make an on car externally adjustable shock for our rides. Funny, i am running an 89 RS with the 305 T.B.I. with K@N and Flowmaster, with 3.08's on the rear.

the tokico rears are adjustable from inside the car, you just have to cut a bit of carpet, to access the top of the rear shock mount.

hahaha... but they do it on a lot of other cars... hell even the Konis for a Neon are adjustable on the car for both front and back.

The Koni reds aren't adjustable though, correct? Just the yellows?

Reds are adjustable too but they are a softer shock than the Yellows.

yeah, you think they would make the rears adjustable on the car for us, considering they are the same for both the third and 4th gen, and we do a lot of tuning to them.

bilstein makes an awesome shock for us. Non Adjustable though, but they also have a heavy duty version for us too.

KYB Agx's are adjustables and will fit on our cars, (I will be running those shortly).

I have KYB AGX's on my 92, & I lov em! Fronts are 4-way adjustable, + require you only to pop the plastic cap off the strut tower, + turn the screw set in the end of the strut shaft to desired setting. Rears are 8-way's, and have a **** sticking out of the side of the shock body, just turn to your desired setting! The fronts even come w/small screwdriver! got mine from PST, way cheaper than Summit, etc.

I like this site, the guys are really down to earth, i have me them in person too. I buy all my shocks, springs and slotted rotors from them.

http://www.shox.com

a link for 82-92 camaron stuff on their site, if it doesn't work, just use the above link.

It looks like the kyb agx's are like 440 a set through them.

different purposes,

autocrossing,
drag racing,
or comfortable street use.

You can set em up for either use. ANd better for fine tuning your vehicles suspension.

i know what they do, just curious if you really needed them or not. alot of times people get in trouble when there are so many options to fine tune. if you can get away with a non adjustable that will work just as good sometimes its better...

sorry bud, didn't mean to sound like a smart ***, i thought you were asking a sincere question about there use. I do agree that non adjustables are a good bang for the buck if you are not going to go all out..
