used koni shocks
so I'm parting my friend's '89 formula that has konis (not sure what kind, think 5-way adjustable) on all 4 corners. The car has been sitting for about 2 years. Not sure how old they are because he bought the car with them on there. Aside from looking at them to see if they are leaking, would the weight of the car over two year's time ruin the shocks? He offered them to me for $25 a piece, I figured they've gotta be better than my gabriels and stock ones in the front, right? Any input would be appreciated, thanks =)

thanks.. I figured they should be fine considering that shocks and struts come compressed from the factory...
