? about steering boxes...
Need to replace my stock steering box after talking to a few ppl decided to call a chevy dealer.Dealer informed me that they used 3 different steering boxes for the FE2 suspension code.Every place I look online & talk to only wants to know engine code & yr.
How do I make sure that it's right for my suspension code?

When I worked in Retail parts at Checker auto, they listed 2 part #'s for A-1 Cardone reman steering boxes. 27-6550 for sport steering (Fe3) and non sport 27-6530. I replaced mine with their box (27-6550) works fine same ratio. Hope it helps.
