handling aspects of a new car

well I just drove my uncles 05 mustang GT and realy wasent overley impressed with anything besides how smooth the car felt while at the same time haveing no body flex and just overal being very tight

i have a 91 ws6 formula 305tpi with a t-5 will items like sub frame conectors, new shocks/struts, steering braces, panhard bar and maybe a front end rebuild kit make the car feel newer? Or will it just improve handling and keep the ride just as harsh or am i just wrong for comparing a 15 year old car to a new one?

i love my car but the current ride and steering feel of the car is somehting that is realy making me second guess it beign worth it to put money into other aspects of the car

thanks alot

Cars have come along way in 15 years. But new struts and shocks will make a night and day diffrence. Don't forget sway bar links if you need them. They also do alot.

im with you man
I was pretty much fed up with my car this year, after the SFC install it definately got stiffer no question there, no more ttop rattles, the ride quality just got even worse though
its painful to drive on certain roads that other cars dont even feel a bump in

though i will say i think i pretty much narrowed down the horrible ride of 'my' car to the rear springs.. they might as well just be solid bars

Yeh you get sick of the rough ride after a while especialy after driving a newer car, I hear about people selling their car because of that all the time

If you replace everything the ride and handling will be increased. If you want improved ride quality replace the springs, shocks and struts with cushy non-performance ones. The cars are build for performance not a good ride. But you could easily make your car have a "new car" ride.
