I'm wondering if anyone knows of a steel wheel of 16x8 with the typical 3rd gen backspacing? I know the 4th gen basic models came with 16x8, but has to much backspacing.
Looking to possibly put some cheapo tires on them, swap swaybar out on occasion and attempt some drifting if I can find a good empty parking lot.
So anyone know of some junkyard units I could pick up that fit above specs?

I wonder about the same thing! Surely something off another GM car will work. I want to use the Mickey Thompson's off of my 93 formula on an 89 and see if they will hook up before buying slicks later this season. Does anyone know of any 16 inch CHEAP wheels that will work on the 89?
i dont know of any offhand, but the first thing I'd look at is to see if any S10s came with 16" steel wheels. The S10s that were only 2 wheel drive shared the same offset as 3rd gens.
Do you know what year(s) of S10 that had the same bolt pattern and offset? Does anyone else have any suggestions? What about S10 derivatives like Blazers, etc. I am kind of afraid to use spacers....
Wheel Vintiques makes rally style steel wheels in 16x8 with 5" backspacing. I had some on my '90 Camaro. They fit great. Should be available through Jeg's or Summit.
