can I rotate my tires
Can I rotate my tires? This is on a 86 T/A. I know on my 87 GTA there is a offset between the front and rear. I don't know about the '86 T/A. I know the tire size is different between the 86 and 87. So question is can I rotate my tire on the 86 trans am or not? DO I tank them off and measure the inside. These are stock rims...
Thanks

Re: can I rotate my tires
Maybe, maybe not. One way to tell if the offsets are different is by looking at the lug-nut area. This is good because you won't need to pull the rims/tires from the car. In that case the offset is molded into the inside of the spokes of the rim.
Looking at the lug nut area (rims/tires on car) see if the fronts are deeper then the rears. It is a subtle difference, but can be seen when comparing them.
Some rims have 'front' and 'rear' molded into the outside face of one of the spokes. If you see that it's a dead give-away.
RBob.
