Yes Im going to cut the factory cover shorter and put it back there. I have tried it on the billsteins before assembly and it was really thight ont the booths, but dit not realize that there was going to be so much space around the shock-absorber.

Please don't take this as an insult, but are you sure you mounted these correctly? I'll look when I get home, but I don't remember being able to see that washer/bushing...
I do remember there was a washer or something, and IIRC, it had to go on top (under the nut), not on the bottom.

Yeah, I think yours are not in right, I would pull it. I just ran out and checked and I cannot see any metal at the top of the strut. I can take a pic tonight if you need one, but for the time being I'm confident you have installed something wrong.

Cant really se anithing from below pics, but can see u used the washer on the top. Ill try that out.
