Re: >>> Front strut bolts<<<
what are you missing? a bigger hammer
Do you have an impact gun? do the bolts spin?
they have most likely rusted a bit and swelled up in the holes.

Re: >>> Front strut bolts<<<
with 20+ yrs. rust etc. it can be rough . an impact driver is your best friend . i recall once on a 2nd gen. i spent 20 mins. with a impact on a leaf spring nut , finally came off . then another 10mins. to drive bolt out with an air hammer . rust/corrosion is a bitch . good luck .

Re: >>> Front strut bolts<<<
I have done many a set of End Link Bolts > NOTE TO SELF: Do not do this while your STRUT is off though without a jack supporting the control arm> Your control arm will drop on your arm like a ton of bricks > DUH Progress non the less, Thank you for you support!

Gotta love those half hour jobs that turn into weekend long projects. Sometimes seems like no matter how many tools you have, the one you really need isnt there. Good luck on your project.

Re: >>> Front strut bolts<<<
Drivers side (included end link bolt) DONE!!!! Passenger side, the 2 lower bolts that mount to the arm by caliper. Well got top one out. 1Bolt left and it must be fused on the inside of that arm > Won't turn out or beat out.... Been beating a huge chisel in and hammering with PB BLAST. Bolt is fused like a mother smucker!!! You should see what is left of my old strut that is still on the car. Not having fun anymore >>>> IDEAS?
