New Springs or Bags?

New Springs or Bags?
I'm contemplating on whether I should get a set of HD springs or just air bags for my 92 camaro tbi, 5speed with 00 camaro ss rims, as sometimes they catch on my rear fenders, mainly my passenger side.
I want which ever method to be as reliable as if I were using this as a daily driver, so I'm considering springs more.
Problem is, I'm not sure what springs I have right now (they look stock), and I don't want to change ride height, only how far down they are allowed to compress.
Airbags is def easier and cheaper....but in the long run, I could develop a leak in one of those over time, no?
Thanks

Re: New Springs or Bags?
New springs are only about $75; about the cost of a tank of gas. Hard to see how anything could be any cheeeper than that. Don't piddle around with band-aids, solve the problem directly. Get springs. Moog CC635.
And .... no worries about eventual failure.

Skeeuze me.... $48 at Advance.
And less work besides; you gotta take em off and put em back on regardless, but if you just set the old stock junk aside and pick up new ones instead, you save yourself the effort of fiddling around with the bags.
