Lowering help

Plan on lowering the maro soon and don't wanna spend the money on springs until I know I like the look. The sportline kit says 1.0"/1.6" (r/f). That's the drop I think I want: I'm going to cut my springs to get the idea, then based off what I see, get new "stock" springs or lowering springs. My question is, how much do I cut off the spring to drop it 1.0" (r)/ 1.6" (f)? Any help would be great, thanks!!

Re: Lowering help

because of many variables, no one will be able to tell you that. You will have to make a cut, put it back together, move the car to settle things, check, and repeat if needed.

however, once you cut your springs and get the height where you want it, why buy more springs?

Re: Lowering help

Cut mine about half a coil in front and 3/4 coil in back and dropped 1.6"F and 1.5"R. It took a couple days to settle btw.

Re: Lowering help

Spend the extra $ on Ground Control Weight Jacks & you can dial in the ride height YOU want & are not restricted to just what some spring makers sells you.
