ok so i had a noise everytime my front end dipped on something. i thought it was the spring not settled in right so i started taking apart my fron end to check it until i noticed this inside my strut tower brace...


checked my driver side and found it looking like this...


so im assuming the broken rubber inside keeps going up and down making my car sound like its broken when i pass pretty girls and i look like a fool... haha just messing but in all seriousness is this what could be causing my car to clunk when i hit a dip? could it have happened because theres too much stress on the mount from the lowering springs i installed? as far as i know is that these are the second replacements but from a junkyard. i found the infamous green coloring from the parts places around here.
any info would help. ill be going to the junkyard tomorrow to see if i can find any pretty looking ones. i know there like 70 bucks new so im not really looking forwrd to putting two of those badboys on.. haha. thanks guys
