Tokico hp blues
I think Im going to take the plunge on buying hp blue strut/shocks for my car.I dont think I need the adjustable shocks for now..my originals are getting bad.I hope these wont blow out too quickly with my sportline springs and ride alot better than it does now. They arent too bad in price either. What do you guys think of them..I cant seem to find much feed back about them on lowered cars.

Re: Tokico hp blues
Fyi anyone reading this thread..I contacted Kevin Lee about using Tokico struts/shocks with Eibach springs and was told that they do not recommend the hp..nor the illuminas on our cars that has been lowered over 1.75inch.When asked if they hve anything suitable for my needs the answer was:
As far as staying within the warranty specs we don't have any shocks/struts
to offer you.

Even if I do get them for a good price..there is no warranty using tokicos with sportline springs from the manufacturer.Wonderful

Re: Tokico hp blues
To my knowledge the Bilsteins and Konis yellows are the only shocks that are warranted to work with a lowered vehicle. I have heard that the Illunimas will work but now I guess that it is probably supposed to be less than 1.75".

On dropped 2" spindles the strut would be the same length.

Koni yellows do go on sale every now and then and run about 620$ for the set. They are the best shocks we can get for our cars that are under a grand.

Re: Tokico hp blues
I have only seen 2" drop spindles for purchase once, and I forget where, but I remember it was high enough to make me forget the idea. For the regular weekend enthusiast, too much money. Where did you see them?

Remember, you have less weight up front, with the LS. Koni Yellows are stiff with a 350.
