Sway Bar Clamp Cracked
I was changing my oil yesterday & noticed the metal clamp that goes over the passenger side front sway bar is cracked. I have another one, just want to paint it & switch it out. What would cause this to crack? I have a wonder bar & 34mm sway bar on an 84 Z28. Maybe I took corner too hard? Are these known to crack? Maybe stress/age? Just curious, thanks for any input

Re: Sway Bar Clamp Cracked
Old age, most likely.
Just get a set of Energy Suspension or similar; they come with new ones anyway.
Replace the end links while you're at it. You WON'T BELIEVE the difference. You'll literally kick yourself in the butt for not doing it sooner.
