another 400 update
well, the new engine's sitting the car right now. went in much easier than the old one came out, maybe cause i didnt put the tranny in yet (sitting in the garage in the middle of a rebuild) . broke down and bought the holley tbi adapter plate instead of machining one. got the driver side header on, the passenger will require me to remove the starter. should hopefully be up and running (on the stock 305 ecm at the moment) by this weekend. have a caprice cop chip sitting right here, but gotta order one of the chip adapters so i dont have to unsolder and possibly burn up the chip i got now. did the ultimate tbi mods including afpr and have 350 injectors, so that will hold me over for now hopefully. any other good ideas/questions/comments, lemme here them. always up for suggestions. thanks

due to my limited funds and lack of time, i used everything that was already in it. not sure about rod length (never measured), but i had to get a new crank because the one that was in there was bad. the rest of the block was immaculate and since i'm not gonna be using this as an all out drag car, i didnt bother to take it to the shop. hopefully should be up and running in the next couple days. only thing i'm waiting on is finishing the tranny. 90% done and hopefully it'll run right. if not, i'll take the loss in mpg and money and put the th350 in it until i can buy another 700r4.
