383 w/TBI
currantly I have an 89 camaro w/ 305 TBI and may be going to a 383 stroker and was wondering what(other than prom mods) what I will need to get it to run good, what intake I should use, headers, and what TBI unit? (and yes, I want to stay TBI)

670tbi with the biggest injectors you can get(~85pph)
edelbrock performer or other spredbore base with adapter plate
biggest headers you can find.
ps i have a chip for a 383 with the 670 and 85pph injectors

BBC injectors from the 454 trucks work great because they can handle more fuel pressure (support more hp) than the Holley injectors. I'd stay under 18psi with Holley injectors but with Rochester (GM oem) you could easily be running in the mid 20's pending the condition of your fuel pump. At least have a 190L walbro intank or 255L. Spend at MOST ~$350 on eprom tuning equipment, less if you use freeware eprom tweaking software and have access to a laptop.
There you have it, instead of giving away money to somebody that does NOT have your vehicle infront of them nore do they have or have worked on a similar setup....do it yourself.
, remind me again why you think you can program an eprom for somebody through the internet.
The only time I ever tried to send a guy an eprom through the mail was somebody that wanted a stock ANLU eprom with a few things disabled like EGR, speed limiter, and the such. The other time was to a member on this sight that had EXACTLY my crate motor and intake setup. He had different rear gears but that wasn't too big of a difference since we were both running near stock stall TCs and the exact same injectors with the same fuel pressure. Funny thing was that he never got the eproms I sent him and 2 of the 4 I sent got returned so we just gave up. I'll program an eprom for somebody local and for a good price too but you won't catch me sending off eproms to people with unique setups, that's just not good tuning. Heck, would you rather pay a dyno operator for time on his dyno or spend the same to have him use his butt dyno!!! I'd rather spend a little time and use MY butt dyno over somebody that's never seen my car .
Sorry Aaron but I'm tired of this crap on the board, either keep it local, e-mail, or private message the guy, just don't let me see it again.

i'm running (or sorta running) a sbc 400 with the tbi setup. its nowhere near tuned yet, seeing as i'm tryin to figure out a tranny prob first. but to help with a bit of fuel, i did the ultimate tbi mods, got 350 injectors, and did the afpr mod. this is on top of an edelbrock performer w/ tbi plate. i did full exhaust, including hooker catback, catco 3" cat, and hedman headers & y pipe. you'll deffinately want to pick up the knock sensor and something else (cant remember) off of the 350. i got her fired up and man did she sound bad-**** (no exhaust on yet ). had no probs with the engine and it seems to be fine with fuel. but once again, i have yet to tune or tweak the prom. just figured i'd let ya know what tbi does on something other that a 305 or 350

Seriously though, do what you want, just don't expect me to reply when you've been public with your sales of TBI "solve all problem" eproms. It reminds me of the whole DIY wideband o2 sensor crap and why Joby has trusted ME with his source code of winaldl and not some joker like yourself. Just look at the number of posts you've had and you think you're HELPING people?
