TBI acting like a 4bbl????
please help!!!!!!!!!!
i have a 91 Camaro TBI 305 when you start it up to warm up it runs EXTREMLY RICH and eventually floods out
then if you hammer it after driving the service engine light comes on and it floods out
when it does this the throttle body whistles EXTREMLY loud
so far i have replaced the fuel pressure regulator
map sensor
coolant temp sensor (INTAKE)
fuel filter
could it be the injectors going bad?

what codes does it throw? What is your fuel pressure? Theres always the possibility that the one you where sold is set for an incorrect pressure. All that noise is probably all teh extra fuel squeezing throught he passages near the throttle blades.

It is VERY unlikely that the injectors are going THAT bad to cause such a rich condition that the car sets off an SES light and floods. I would do the basic stuff like checking fuel pressure and pulling the error code(s) from the ecm. I doubt it's the o2 sensor and that whisling is usually the IAC motor going crazy because some sensor is fubar.
Reply to this when you've got an error code then we can help.

Check out the FAQ here, and look at towards the bottom:
https://www.thirdgen.org/newdesign/faq/thirdgen.shtml
Code 15- Low temperature indicated at engine coolant temp. sensor
Code 23- Low temperature at manifold air temperature sensor OR
Throttle position sensor error
Sounds like you may need a bew TPS since you already replaced the CTS. However, dont rule out that the CTS is okay.. could still be bad.
