Multi-point fuel injection
Wondering if anyone has seen or experienced the edelbrock multi-point fuel injections for tbi sbc truck motors. They claim it gives you more power and better gas mileage. I was looking to get a 350 tbi and a computer out of a truck and put it in my 3rd gen and use this system.

Unless you buy the standalone and not the one that runs off the stock computer... your limited to 350 hp because of the manifold it has to use. They also said it can't be bored because of it's desing. You might be able to squeeze more power out of it if you use a blower.
Your looking at 20 hp and 20 ft lbs absolute max. People switch to mpfi because it's a more efficient system... better gas mileage(maybe 1 mpg or 2), better off idle tq, better throttle response, and smoother running... not really a power mod tho.

Fast355, Did you do any $OD tuning with the MPFI setup? I will be finishing my motor & MPFI install next week and I know I'll have to do some tuning. I would apreciate any tips or tables that could help my project run ok. This is not a performance deal, just a daily driver that will never see anything over 3500 rpm.
