mild 406, crossfire on a weiand crossram, suggestions?
I'm new to TBI systems. Bought a Weiand Crossram that has had a stock 'Vette crossram injection installed on it. I want to put it on my daily driver '68 shortbed with a very mild (near stock) 406. Need your recommendations on cam (it'll never see 5500 rpm), and any TBI mods/upgrades I should make.

I'd go with a Comp cam of the XE256ish variety with the 112 degree lobe sep for more operating efficiency/net compression at lower rpms... Use GOOD 1.6 rockers, preferrably roller/rockers with good heads/exhaust/intake and you'll be ok.
Stock TBI stuff you have should work but you'll need fuel pressure adjustment probably and surely a custom PROM to match your different/non-OEM combination...
