Root Style Blower

now I know this has been talked about before but still. There is a Wieland blower in my house right now. My dad's buddy had it on a built 383, blew it up and said you pull it, its yours. Well hell why wouldn't I? So I got everything... Sitting.... Humm, 305 TBI blown. Now I remember some one was on the board before that had a blower on his but I don't think it was roots style. He only ran I think 14? BlownRS92 I think was his name.. Anyways, if your around, please e-mail me.
Okay I got side tracked again, would I have any problems mounting this with head angles? Also would the TBI put up? What would I have to do to make this this go? I have a torch so hood clearance is not a problem Also who could do a chip for this.. See sig for all details.

kick *** dude. ask Shane B. for help. bolt angles on heads are a very minor problem. All you have to do is open the 2 center intake holes to be oval shape. some intakes even come like this.

Need a lot more info.. What kind of blower is it?

I had a weiand #6504 on my 92 firebird 355 tbi and it was fine....

You have to have the long nose for the serpentine belt, and you need to make sure it is made for 87+ heads. It probably isnt. The Weiand 6504 is for pre 87 heads, but since i have vortecs, this was perfect.

The other thing is hood clearance. It would not clear the stock hood. I bought a harwood and cut on my stock hood, but a 3 or 4" cowl would probably do the trick.

the install is very simple, just like changing an intake.

Let me know what kind of blower you have, and we'll see what your options are. You could buy the right blower intake, but it needs to at least be made for serpentine setups.
