I was out driving tonight and when I first started my car (89 RS TBI with Open Air Element) It seemed to shake, almost as if it was going to stall out on me. Well I drove it up the street to a friends house and the entire way there it had this shake. A few hours later we went out and I noticed when I would hit the gas I got a Fluttering sound. It almost sounded like a Baseball card was stuck or something. I had my friend rev the engine for me and this fluttering sound was coming from behind my air cleaner near the distrubor Cap. I also noticed I didnt really have all the power. I dont know if that was just me worring about the sound and the shakes, or whut. Any ideas? I really dont want to have to take it to Chevy so they can Rape me on price. Thanks

Might be a spark arc. Open the hood after dark and see if you see the fire fly. Might be time for Distributor cap, rotor, plug wires and plugs. Might as well through in a MSD blaster coil while your working on it.
