tbi ?s
Heah guys I need to know, well for starters i have 305 to 350 tbi swap, and have had this done for 5 or 6 years now but only now do I have time and money to tune and what not. So it 350 block and 350 tbi unit on top, I know I need a knock sensor, esc and the ecm from some of the other posts but in the mean time what kind of fuel pressure should I be running, by the way it is bored .40 over and I have alreadly installed a regulator and pressure gauge so it should be fairly simple to change once I know the correct pressure. Oh and I also have a sort knock off msd distributor which has an improved pick up coil and hotter spark so if that makes a difference in the psi setting let me know as well thanks and if anyone has these parts, ecm, esc let me know...

Re: tbi ?s
Besides being .040 over, is the rest of the engine stock? What is the engine out of? Stock GM TBI fuel pressures vary from 9-13 PSI so you probably want to set your fuel pressure at 12 or 13 PSI. If you've upgraded the cam, heads, exhaust..etc. Then you'll need to run higher fuel pressure in order to support the increased horsepower of the engine. So, how you set your fuel pressure depends on the modifications made to the engine. You'll also have to modify the ecm programming for the larger displacement and again, for any modifications made to the engine. You don't need another ecm but you will need to reprogram the chip in the ecm. If you post all your mods I'm sure plenty of others will chime in to help you with what you need to do.

Well besides they boring an msd type distributor for more spark, accel super coil, k&n filters, flowmaster muffler but will have complete exhaust soon, 160 deg thermostat, the block is from a truck, with flat tappet cam non hydralic, mild cam... heads and intake are from the stock 305, the tbi is 350 from a truck as well. the rest is pretty stock.
