TBI Sensor???

Bought the 91 RS and the guy told me there may be a TBI Sensor out causing something with the fans?? Have you heard of this?? To be honest when I picked up the beast the guy seemed a little tipsy slurring a little bit and whatnot, and I just had back surgery so I am on some serious Vicodin so with the combination I may have misunderstood. Please help me understand. I do specifically remember he said I had to leave the ac on the the fans would stay on if that helps

Re: TBI Sensor???

Passenger head between sparkplug 6# and 8# you have the fan switch sensor, turns fan on/off around 220/195°.
AC on will keep the fan on regardless of the fan switch working properly.

This is the default failure mode of the fan temp switch. When it breaks it keeps the fan on non stop. Time for a new one.
