Fuel Tank Connector Question

Fuel Tank Connector Question
Who can tell me what each of the 3 wires that are on the fuel tank weather pack connector are, I need to know which is the sending unit wire and then the electric pump feed. I am converting my car over to the Terminator system and the new fuel tank has a 3 wire connector and as I look at it from the top of the connecter, there is A, B, and C. The black is position A, purple in position B and gray is in position C. I am guessing that purple wire is the sending unit and the gray is the pump power feed, I know that the black is the ground, anyone? Before I make my final connections I want to know that I have wired correctly. I had to run a green power wire from the Holley ECU to the back and I got a new pigtail assembly and want to know how to wire it. My original was a 2 wire connector with a pink and black, pink being the sending unit color but now I don't if the purple is or the gray one is with this setup. Thanks any help.

Re: Fuel Tank Connector Question
black is ground, grey is pump +12v, purple is sender resistance.
the pump is fairly high draw, be sure to use a good relay with a good high amperage connection to the battery, and a good clean ground.

Re: Fuel Tank Connector Question
Thanks for that info, now I can proceed with finishing up the wiring. The relay is included and packaged into the Terminator system and according to what I have found about the pump, it draws 10amps or just a bit less and the wire included with their system should suffice I hope. The wire coming out of the hanger assembly is 14 gage and that is what the factory used for these cars and Holley uses for the pump feed. They do say if you are using a pump that draws more than 10 amps to use a larger wire separate relay. Guess I will find out when I get it up and running and check the wire to make sure it is ok.

Re: Fuel Tank Connector Question
I agree with wiring. i am chasing a power issue. i lost power to the fuel pump. can not get power from relay to the pump... but you have wire code correct... google the diagram if needed.

Re: Fuel Tank Connector Question
On my K1500, there are FOUR wires.
Fuel gauge +, fuel gauge -, and the power feed for the fuel pump.
There is a separate wire for the fuel pump ground, which attaches to the vehicle frame near the tank.
Be careful of what you're calling the "ground" wire, 'cause there's probably two of them--one for the pump, one for the fuel gauge.

Re: Fuel Tank Connector Question
Thanks for the input, my connector has just the 3 wires so I finished up the wiring today and I will soon find out once my throttle body gets back from being retrofitted with a custom bracket. Again thanks to all for the input.
