ok, let me lay this whole deal out on the line.
car wouldnt start.
changed the starter.
still wouldnt start, changed the ignition switch.
STILL wouldnt start.
took a test light to the plug going into the neeutral safetym switch, and found some interesting things:
blue wire, third from bottom: hot all the time, its all good.
green wire w/ white stripe on top: oddly enough, starts out i believe on the ignition switch as a yellow wire. should have 12 volts when you turn the key, but nothing.
purple wire, second from top: no voltage at all, but when hardwired from the bluew hot wire to this wire, car starts for about 5 seconds then dies.
all in all:WHAT THE HELL IS GOING ON!!!!

no, my relay isnt making a buzzing noise. im abotu to go out and see if its the starter enable relay. after going through the chilton's wiring diagrams, i think that may be the problem

all i took to it was a 6v-12v test light, and it wasnt getting anything. this means that if it IS flowing something, then its less than 6v. what relay are you talking abotu buzzing? where exactly is it?
