Help! My hatch wont close all the way.
yo, my hatch motor wont pull my hatch all the way down. its like its burnt out. Help, what can I do? Where Can I get a new one. I was told those motors are disscontinued.

Usually its the clear plastic case that holds the mechanism together that gets cracked and broken.
In my case the screws that hold it to the trunk had worked loose and wouldnt hold... I went to the hardware store and got some epoxy based glue called Liquid Titanium and slathered it in the holes so the screws would stay...a year later, still works fine!
As for the motors, they rarely actualy burn out, more likely the fuse. If the motor really is dead then just go to your local junk yard for a new one.

Yo , it might be a simple fix.
The hatch motor raises and lowers. It's known to get stuck in the down position, including mine. There is a little lever that you push down on if this is the case, it will raise the motor back up and work fine.
Worth a shot.
