The car is running again, fast as he!! too . No more 15s for me. However, there is a slight ticking. I've heard exhaust leaks before, but it sounds more like a metal ticking sound, like lifters. However, I know there is an exhaust leak at the header gasket. And I got those expensive copper gaskets. I think I might give manifold gaskets a try. My brother says it's just a header leak, as he adjusted the valves correctly. Other than that the motor runs awesome. Wouldn't misadjusted valves cause running problems?

Oh, there will be plenty of pics and sound clips coming later today. Got to wax her first.

I want some times damnit! <grin>.

These are the heads I'm considering vs. Vortecs, and although I've talked to a billion people who have run the Vortecs, I have not really heard anything substantial about the ProActions yet, besides, "oh they're nice pieces..."

I'm going to have an anxiety attack, aaaahh.

Just get the regular Fel Pro exaust manifold gaskets. Get TWO sets. Install 2 gaskets on each side. Metal side facing head, then on the other pair, metal side facing the header. I always use a LITTLE bit of RTV to keep the sides stuck together. Use loctite on the bolts and worry about something else

I install these every time I do headers, never had a problem with leaks.

Now the collector gaskets are another story. I've got an exhaust leak now from the CRAPPY Flowtech alum / metal collector gaskets on the Hedman Y-pipe.... I think is contributing to a idle issue I'm having...

I think I'm gonna pitch the Hedman Y-pipe and go and get my exhaust guy to bend me a custom 3" Y-pipe to the cat, kill two bird with one stone...

Get some numbers on the addition of those heads...

Hype, hopefully in a few weeks I'll have some time slips.

The car hauls azz, and i think I need some suspension work as I think I have some wheel hop
