Those who have installed Pro Lightnings Inside

I got the car running, and had to replace the intake gasket. Come to find out the Fel Pro's I used barely covered the huge runners ( I assume that's the term) of the new heads. And the driver side one slid down just a hair and caused it to run horrible. So I bought some Ultra Seal ones and they were still rather small. To ensure they didn't move AT ALL had the bolt holes on the gasket enlarged to allow the gasket to sit up higher and then put some permatex on the outer parts of the holes to hold the gasket in place. Just thought I'd share this info with future installers.

It's almost as much fun as raising the roofs of the runners on stock heads, and having very little sealing flange left.

I looked in Jegs and they sell gaskets that are for large runner heads, wish I had known that.

FelPro part# 1206 is a big-runner gasket, with #1205 the next size smaller. They're both nice pieces, just size up your runners and use the right one.

AFR 190 heads really like the 1205.

What gasket did you use, i think Pro Topline recommends the FEL-1205

Well, I was running 15.46 last time at the track, so it feels a hella lot faster now.

I'm guess at mid-high 13s, but we'll see.

It sounds nasty too, my GF said "it's just loud and annoying now" , lol.

I have a sound clip, butI have to host it first.
