HATCH/AERO SPOILER, please help me
I have a 5.0l 85 T/A and I never had an aero spoiler on it. So, i removed my old stock spoiler and went to put the aero one on.
I realized something, the ends of the aero spoiler have nothing to attach to on the hatch! I heard there are "clips" i need that will attach to the hatch to make an aero spoiler fit. Does anyone know where I can get these ? Please help. I'm desperate!

I too have an 85 Trans Am, except mine came with V6 camaro hatch... When I put the aerospoiler, I made a little hole on the back side of each "arm" and run a tie wire from that hole, under the glass, to the hatch-shock bolt... I don't ever use the hatch so it's ok, and you can't see the wire either. If I need to open it, I have to untie the wire from the hatch-shock bolt first. It works just fine since T/A is not a grossery getter. I wasn't able to find those clips...

I'm pretty sure you can find them from your pontiac dealer.

Those clips look like they are spot welded onto the window frame. I just bought a GTA spoiler last week and mounted it my T/A. The GTA spoiler is very sturdy plastic and those arms don't flex, but I used some weather stripping on the window frame to keep the arms from rattling on it.
I'll post some pics of it as soon as I borrow the digital camera again.
BTW, I got the immaculate GTA spoiler for only $125 from a local junkyard. It's been there for over 2 months and I was surprised it was still there when I checked again, this time I had some extra cash.
