SVO 24lb. injector "clicking/ticking".....
I have a chance to pick up some SVO24lb. injectors from a close friend. They should complement my heads, cam, supercharger, and other mods. I am still using stock 22lb. injectors(350c.i.). I have noticed that they are loud, as in a ticking sound, when his car is running. I have heard this is normal for this kind/brand of injector. They function fine in his car, just a little to much fuel for his set up. He is going to switch to 24lb GM lt-1 injectors. Any comments on this clicking sound from the injectors? They seem quite loud to me.

Injectors normally click anyway, because all they really are is an electric solenoid, and thats just a trait of a solenoid. Some are noisier than others. You can hear those over that vortech? I'm impressed!
BTW nice pic in Car Craft, I just picked it up last week.

Blower,
My 19lb injectors click as well. They have from the first day they were installed. If they don't make noise, your car probably won't run. Some may be a bit louder than others, and it stands to reason that the 24lb/hr injectors could make more noise, since they might have a larger pintle because they deliver more fuel.
By the way, "that brand" of injector is the same brand your car was originally delivered with. Both GM and Ford used Bosch injectors for many years. The injectors and connectors are the same. GM used a slightly thicker 'O' ring at the fuel rail and intake base, however, and I would recommend using these instead of the Ford 'O' rings to insure a positive seal.
