91 camaro rs starting problems
having starting running probs with camaro, replaced plugs and wires last night to see if that would help, started up fine let it run for a bit (about 15 min) went to start it back up, no go just sits and cranks and reaks of gas while its cranking, so its getting plenty of gas, already has a new cap/rotor/wires/plugs anything else that could be causing this? it seems when the engine gets warm it doesnt want to start

it could be alot of things, but my 85 RS did this for awhile and I couldn't figure it out. We changed everything on it and finally we figured out it the distributor itself, so I would check that.

IT LIVES!
it lives! and it was a real PITA making it do that.
we started it got it hot then shut it off, wont start. alright pull a plug wire stick a old spark plug in it and hold against engine
crank it
no spark what so ever @#$@#$@
cap/rotor/plugs/wires were already changed, next in line is the coil
came back to my house and yoinked the coil from my firebird.
tried it
still no spark.
alrighty then next step is the ignition module
pull the cap and rotor off, i dont really know what they are but i will refer to them as fins, (Above pickup coil) rusted to hell, replace ignition module
still no spark
next thing is pickup coil
pull distributor
have a hell of a time getting the shaft out of distributor barely moved
with help of vice got shaft out cleaned up shaft and inside distributor with wd-40 and sand paper (rednecks r us)
cleaned up the "fins" with a wire brush bit and replaced pickup coil which was ate to hell
put back in car and try to start
put put put put put
timing off.
pull distributor again move it one tooth over
VRRRRM been working fine since
