91 305?? Tach Lead??

I was wondering if anyone knows what color the wire for my tach lead is on my 1991 Camaro RS with a 305 in it. Because i went with a holley carb and a non computer controlled carb and i was wondendering which one i need to hook to my tach lead on my distributor. Would it be the one that was mated with my power wire it was a white wire, that is what i got from the wiring diagram but i am not sure.

white wire goes to tach (-) Fat Pink to Ign. (+).
